NORA logo

A private personal AI assistant.

NORA integrates Gmail, Google Calendar, projects and tasks into one private assistant — built and run by its own owner, for their own use. NORA itself is a private application; it is not a public product and has no public sign-up.

What NORA does

  • Email organization. NORA reads and classifies incoming email so nothing important gets lost, and can prepare draft replies for review — it never sends email on its own without explicit, in-the-moment approval.
  • Calendar awareness. NORA can see the owner's upcoming schedule so it can reason about availability, timing, and follow-ups, and can prepare calendar changes for approval.
  • Projects and tasks. NORA tracks multi-step projects — each with its own linked contacts, threads and documents — plus the individual tasks inside them, flags what's blocked or waiting, and surfaces what actually needs attention.
  • A thinking partner. NORA can be asked questions, given instructions, and used to reason through decisions, using a mix of local and cloud AI models depending on the sensitivity of the request.

Why NORA connects to Google

NORA integrates with Gmail and Google Calendar so it can act as a real assistant over the owner's actual email and schedule — not a demo. Read access lets NORA understand what's happening; the ability to prepare (never automatically send) drafts and calendar changes lets it actually help, always with a person in control of anything that leaves the system.

Who runs NORA

NORA is a private, self-hosted system built and operated by its owner for their own personal and household use — it is not a multi-tenant public service, it is not offered to the general public, and it has no public sign-up. This page exists solely to describe NORA publicly; the application itself is not reachable from here.
